Decided to try daytime diving for a change in pace. No need for flashlights or skulking around. Just plain ole in daylight diving. Actually it has it’s advantages. Easier to see items and lot less hassle.

We look for quality now, not quantity. It’s very easy to get caught up and just want to take everything. When you have a small house, you just can’t.

Today and yesterday’s finds include, 3 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of vodka, some glasses (were in a kit w/liquor and glasses), mattress cover, perfume, makeup, 1 container of protein power (new unopened), a box of vitamins (new), some hair clips and other miscellaneous items.

In a SHTF situation things like protein powder is a viable prepper item. You could subsitute a couple of meals a day with protein powder and plain water. Probably wouldn’t be as satisfying as meatloaf but it would keep you alive.

I smell a bad moon a rising. Please get out of debt, store food and have a getaway plan.

  2. Hi there Sandra, I don’t name stores for good reason. I don’t want them reading my blog and locking their dumpster. OR making it very difficult for people like us to come in. Just do your recon during the day and see who is throwing out what and dive at night. If you dive during the day, just keep your eyes open.

  3. No mission impossible music then? The beauty products and magazines will make a good exchange item when TSHTF.

  4. No music my friend. No slithering around, just hiding in plain sight.
